The Prophet's (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) Psychological Care During the Meccan Period: An Objective Study

Abstract


This study aims to introduce the psychological care of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), clarify its most important aspects and areas, and explain its impact on his personality (peace and blessings be upon him). The researcher used the inductive and analytical methods. After induction and analysis, the study reached several results, the most important of which are: The psychological care of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) means the divine upbringing of him, managing all his affairs, and preparing the appropriate conditions for him so that he would be qualified to bear his message, so that he would fulfil it and deliver it with a stable soul, not preoccupied by concerns, and not affected by accidents and problems. Furthermore, the psychological care provided to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) included the care of his spirit, mind, body, emotions, and feelings and among its most prominent effects were fulfilling his physical, psychological, and social needs, providing him with stability and protection, fostering love for him among others, and ensuring his sense of security and psychological well-being.
