DAYTIME IN THE NOBLE QUR’AN: OBJECTIVE STUDY

Abstract
This research addresses daytime in the Qur’an, in terms of definition and concept. Problem of the research is that mention of the daytime in the Qur’an, its concept, expressions indicating it, its relationship to the night, movement, descriptions, benefits, parts, and related actions were not studied in one comprehensive research. This research aims to state all that takes place in the daytime. The inductive and deductive approaches are adopted herein. Then it shows what was mentioned in the term daytime such as counting, statistics, movement, descriptions, and actions. Most important results of the research are: The Sharia surrounded daytime with concepts of worship continuity, work, earning, and living. In addition, Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) chooses daytime for actions without night, chooses night for actions without daytime and choses them for common actions. The concept of daytime is dependent on time extending from dawn until sunset, and that night and daytime are equal in the call to Allah.
