TOWARD USING TECHNOLOGY FOR TRAINING TEACHERS ON TEACHING PRONUNCIATION (CAPT) IN GAZA

This study aims to provide English language specialists with outlines for a computer assisted program that can be used for training English Teachers on teaching pronunciation for 10^th graders in the governmental schools in Gaza. This program, called CAPT: Computer- assisted training program, supplies teachers with the basic knowledge they need to master about English pronunciation. Moreover, it provides teachers with practical ideas and techniques on how to teach authentic pronunciation materials in their classrooms using technological devices: computers, smart phones, tablets and so on. Finally, a set of recommendations is given concerning how to apply this program in reality.
