Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the current status of educational quality in secondary schools in the Al-Baha region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A mixed-methods research design was employed. The study utilized two data collection instruments: a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The questionnaire was administered to a randomly selected sample of 396 participants، while the interview sample consisted of 15 male and female teachers. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics، including means and standard deviations، in addition to the One-Sample Test and effect size measures for a single sample. Qualitative data were analyzed using a thematic qualitative analysis approach. The findings indicated that the level of educational quality in secondary schools in the Al-Baha region was high، reflecting a positive trend toward the development and improvement of this educational stage. And the quality of secondary education in the Al-Baha region is moving towards keeping pace with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in terms of planning and direction, but it still faces difficulties at the level of implementation and actual verification due to the existence of structural, human and administrative challenges.
