Abstract

Recently, some errors have appeared that some Muslims commit when performing prayer. It is necessary to refute and address these errors using textual and rational evidence, while also explaining the impact of the Quranic objectives of Surah Al-Baqarah on the life of a Muslim. This study also mentions evidence from the Holy Quran and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet, to be cited and benefited from, using the inductive, analytical, and deductive methods. The researcher reached conclusions, including: that the five daily prayers have evidence from the Holy Quran, either explicitly or implicitly, as found in the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet. Therefore, this is explained to the ignorant, the doubter, and the one who turns away from this, so that it may be a conclusive argument, and they may be guided to the straight path. Prayer prevents every vice. If a worshipper is diligent in his prayers and the prayer does not deter him from every vice, then the problem lies in his performance of the prayer, not in the prayer itself.
