Main Article Content
Abstract
The discussion of da'wah work in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and ways to develop it through civil associations is broad and multifaceted. This study will attempt to summarize the topic and bring together its various aspects by focusing on the impact of the sacred dimension of the Grand Mosque in promoting da'wah work. This study is taken from a doctoral thesis entitled “Dawah Work of Civil Associations in Makkah and Ways to Develop It” at Madinah International University, College of Islamic Sciences, Department of Dawah and Fundamentals of Religion. The rationale for this study is that despite the centrality of the Grand Mosque in the destiny of the nation, contemporary da'wah studies have not sufficiently highlighted the impact of this dimension in shaping a methodology for da'wah work and building effective practices inside and outside the Haram. The researcher's contribution to finding fundamental solutions to this problem was the main objective of the research: How does the predestined dimension of the Grand Mosque, as a place chosen by Allah Almighty and a center of guidance, contribute to shaping a more effective and comprehensive vision of da'wah work? To achieve the main objective and sub-objectives, the study was divided into two sections and followed a descriptive approach. The study produced results and recommendations, the most important of which are: The divine dimension of the Grand Mosque gives da'wah work a solid divine legitimacy, as it is associated with a place chosen by God for guidance and worship, which enhances confidence in and acceptance of da'wah work. The divine security associated with the Grand Mosque provides a stable environment for the growth of da'wah work, which establishes stability and continuity, away from turmoil, ensuring the permanence of the message and clarity of the approach. The study recommends the need to direct da'wah work in the Haram towards promoting understanding of this and continuity, away from turmoil, ensuring the permanence of the message and clarity of the approach. The research recommends the need to direct da'wah work in the Haram towards promoting understanding of this.
