Educational Values Included in the Mathematics Book for the Sixth Grade in the Republic of Yemen

Abstract
The problem of the study was defined in the main question: What educational values are included in the mathematics textbook for the sixth grade (Parts One and Two) in the Republic of Yemen? To achieve this, the study employed the descriptive analytical method. The study sample consisted of the mathematics textbook in its two parts (Part One and Part Two). The data collection tool was a content analysis form that included five categories of educational values: (moral, social, national, intellectual, health, and environmental). The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The total number of occurrences of educational values in the mathematics textbook for the sixth grade (Parts One and Two) in the Republic of Yemen amounted to 509, distributed across the five main categories. Intellectual values were most frequent (361 occurrences, 70.92%), followed by moral values (75 occurrences, 17.09%), social values (31 occurrences, 6.09%), health and environmental values (26 occurrences, 5.10%), and finally national values (16 occurrences, 3.14%). The study recommends that the authors of the mathematics textbook give more attention to including national, health, and environmental values in the content. They should also ensure a more balanced distribution of educational values across all categories and different educational stages.
