THE ROLE OF ENDOWMENT IN ACHIEVING ECONOMIC AND SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT IN SOCIETY

Abstract

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Mohamad. In this research, I discussed the role of the endowment in achieving economic and scientific development, and its role in economic development through the economic cycle. Production, exchange, and distribution. The research raised the problem of economic and scientific openness, and the possibility of employing the Waqf institution to achieve economic and scientific development in society. The study followed the descriptive and authentic approaches, and the study reached several results, including:

The role of the endowment in the economic development of the Islamic community is highlighted through production; Agricultural, industrial, commercial, and social.

The role of the endowment in economic development is highlighted through exchange in forms including contracting, trade, financing, and investment.

The role of the endowment in economic development appears through distribution. Examples of distribution in the endowment system include endowments for the poor and needy. Endowment for students of knowledge.

The endowment has an impact on scientific development through mosques, bookshops, and houses. Such as Dar Al-Hadith, Dar Al-Fiqh, schools such as Al-Tanaksiyah School, Al-Azhar institutes, and endowment universities, and the following was recommended:

The necessity of urging Muslims to stop teaching.

Working on the scientific renaissance because it is the basis of economic growth.

Paying attention to students of Islamic sciences and spending the proceeds of the endowment for students of Islamic sciences on them.

Investing endowment funds and not freezing them.
