Abstract

The research investigates the rulings pertaining to a latecomer (masbūq) in the funeral prayer (ṣalāt al-janāzah), which differs from other prayers by missing to rukūʿ and sujūd. The research aims to determine the specific ruling for the masbūq and how to join the imam after starting the pray. Additionally, it explores the permissibility of entering between two takbirs. I used the descriptive comparative method as methodology, the research concludes that whenever the masbūq joins with the imam is considered as the first part of his pray, and entering between two takbirs is permissible.
