Abstract
The research attempts to explore the educational impact of the entry of Ismailia to Yemen. It aims at identifying the educational aspect of the Yemeni Ismailis by tracing the educational propaganda centers and means they used in Yemen.
The research has used inductive and descriptive historical methodologies. It included four aspects. First, the educational aspect of the Ismaili sect, second, the Ismaili educational centers in Yemen and the influence of the Ismaili imams on them, third, the Ismaili educational propaganda and its impact on Yemen, and fourth, the archaeological and tangible evidence indicating the educational influence of Ismailism in Yemen. The research reached many results which area connection between the Ismailis of Yemen in the educational aspect with the Ismaili imams outside Yemen during the research period through applying all their educational and organizational propaganda tools. In addition, the Ismaili schools in Yemen did not suffer from the scarcity of educational expenses due to multiple financial resources such as in-kind or cash endowments to the teacher or the learner, which was confined to the Ismailis only.
