Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of the Saudi cybercrime system in reducing the crime of cyberbullying in light of international laws and treaties. The researchers relied on the descriptive and analytical methodology that deals with the subject of the study. The problem was studied by forming the main question and answering it through the research topics and demands. The researchers reached results, including, but not limited to, that technical and information development must keep pace with the development of the legal systems that govern criminal phenomena associated with modern technologies and information, especially since many countries are still dealing with laws and provisions. For electronic crimes, especially those related to the phenomenon of cyberbullying, and then the researchers recommended several recommendations, including: providing precautionary measures to confront this criminal phenomenon, starting with deprivation from using the Internet and ending with temporarily closing websites and forums or blocking them permanently, as well as preventing the cyberbully from contacting the victim, And work to establish treatment and assistance centers for victims of bullying crimes, and establish a national committee to combat the phenomenon of cyberbullying to develop public policies to combat the phenomenon of cyberbullying.
