Abstract

The current research provide a translation of Mohammed bin Amr Al-Yafei statements, along with an analysis of the opinions of critics, while collecting his narrations from the books of Sunnah and studying them to determine their authenticity. The problem with this research lies in the varying opinions of the critics, ranging from those who consider his narrations reliable to those who consider them unreliable. Muslim included one of his narrations in his Sahih, and resolving this issue requires a study of these narrations to determine how Imam Muslim obtained them, as well as a general examination of his narrations to determine their overall authenticity. The nature of this research necessitates the use of an inductive method to trace his narrations in the collections of Sunnah that have been examined, as well as an analytical approach to classify and evaluate his narrations. The research includes an introduction, two main chapters, a conclusion, and indices. The introduction outlines the objectives, significance, methodology. The first chapter provides a translation of Mohammed bin Amr Al-Yafei's statements and a discussion of the critics' opinions regarding him. The second chapter consists of a study of the narrations attributed to him. The conclusion highlights the main findings, and the indices include a bibliography and references. The research findings indicate that Mohammed bin Amr Al-Yafei is considered weak and unreliable by scholars, with only eleven of his narrations having been examined, including eight that are considered acceptable and three that are considered weak.
