GUIDANCE OF SURAT AL-HUMAZAH: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY

Abstract

The study deals with the subject of Surat Al-Hamza and its study is an analytical study, as it is a surah full of abundant meanings and precious rhetorical secrets. It is necessary for the scholars to deal with this Surah and study it from all aspects. In each of its verses, and therefore the goal of the research is to explore its meanings and purposes inherent in its verses, as well as the graphic secrets in it. The noble Surah, and the study was divided into three sections, and it was prefaced with an introductory introduction to the Surah, which includes its name, the reason for its revelation, and its relevance with what came before it and what follows it. And then clarifying the aspects of the connection between them, and at the end of the research a number of results were reached, and they were represented in points, perhaps the most prominent of which is that the general atmosphere that prevails in Surat Al-Hamza, the atmosphere of intimidation and threat to those who spoil the earth. As well as the occasion of Surat Al-Hamza with what came before it, which is Surat Al-Asr, as well as its occasion for what comes after it, which is Surat Al-Fil. Also, the care of the Holy Qur’an in selecting words that serve the desired meaning, and this care reaches the point of impossibility to replace words with other words that serve the same purpose, as in Surat Al-Hamza. Short and concise, it strikes hearts and shatters the pride of the oppressors.
