WEIGHTING OPINIONS BY PRIORITY FORMULA ACCORDING TO AL-IMĀM AL-WĀḤIDĪ IN HIS BOOK “TAFSĪR AL-WASĪṬ”: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY

Abstract

This research talks about one of the weighting formulas of one of the imams of Tafseer, Imam al-Wahidi in his book Al.Waseet. The research problem is summed up in the following main question: Is the formula of weighting with priority one of the formulas practiced by scholars, especially Imam al-Wahidi as a model? The aim of the research is: to study the weighting formula of priority according to Imam al-Wahidi in his interpretation book Al.Waseet, with the collection of examples, in addition to the weighted faces that he weighted through this formula. The research concluded with the most important results: the extent to which Imam al-Wahdi is careful with weighting in his interpretation book Al.Waseet, the accuracy of his use of weighting formulas and ways, and their impact on those who followed him in the weighting section. In this research, the inductive and analytical approach was used, based on the tracking, study and analysis of texts.
