THE REINFORCEMENT MEANS OF THE VOLUNTEERISM CULTURE IN THE GENERAL EDUCATION OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

Abstract

This research deals with the reinforcement means of the volunteerism culture in general education, as the field of education is one of the very important areas in promoting the culture of volunteerism in the light of the use of appropriate means that achieve its objective; the students are the fertile environment for guidance, change, evaluation and reform in a differents ways, including al-Ḥisbah. The research aims to introduce the topic of promoting the culture of volunteerism in public education, identify those who promote it, and indicate the the most important means of strengthening it verbally, practically and sensually. By employing the descriptive and deductive approach. The research reached the following results: (1) The necessity of knowing the Shariah rules of al-Ḥisbah; where knowledge of it helps to enhance the culture of volunteerism among students, to find out its ruling, to know its purposes and to know the consequences of leaving it; (2) one of the imperatives in promoting the culture of volunteerism in general education is to determine the appropriate legal method for students; as the verbal, practical and sensory means, with their various tools, are considered among the effective means in general education. The researcher recommended the authorities concerned to develop and renew the culture of volunteerism in general education, as a pioneering experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the generalizing the experience to Arab and Islamic countries.
