THE SHARIAH METHOD IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL CRISES

Abstract

This research deals with the problem of not referring to the Shariah approach in the managment of the psychological crises among a group of people, either because they are not convinced or because they are ignorant of the ways of Shariah in treating such crises and their effectiveness, this is with the urgent need for such a study at a time when the Corona pandemic appeared and the psychological crises it caused for patients and their families, This study aims to clarify the Shariah approach in treating patients’ psychological crises, and highlight the greatness of this Shariah and its comprehensiveness of all that people need in their religion and life with linking the afflicted humans to the Shariah law in a state of hardship as in a state of prosperity, and instilling the value of satisfaction with the destiny of Allah the Almighty. By employing the inductive and analytical-deductive approach. The research was divided into two sections: the concept of treating patients’ psychological crises and its importance, and the ways of Sharia in treating patients’ psychological crises. The study reached the following findings: (1) The Shariah approach in dealing with psychological crises is effective if it is placed in its proper framework, and it is one of the therapeutic methods that have begun to take its place today among other psychological treatments; (2) The legitimate psychological treatment is also an indispensable preventive method, especially in this time, which has became fraught with lack of morals, narrowness of life, grumbling, pressures, and so on; (3) The Shariah method is one of the most effective ways to deal with psychological crises, as recognized by a non-Muslim psychiatrists.
