ENDOWMENT OF MEDICINE: A COMPARATIVE JURISPRUDENCE STUDY

Abstract

The issue of endowment of medicines is problematic in terms of the fact that endowment of medicines is one of the needs that a person needs in his reality. Since the medicines is almost indispensable, and not all people can spend money on it. The scarcity of studies that dealt with this topic has appeared to me. The research aims to define what is meant by endowment of medicines, clarifying its importance, and identifying the forms of endowment of medicines and its jurisprudential rulings. The inductive, analytical and comparative methods have been adopted. This study concluded with results, the most prominent of which are: The purpose of endowment of medicines is to donate everything permissible that is used in the prevention of disease or in its diagnosis and treatment. And that the medicine may be made an endowment according to the endowment of the health facility, or it may be made an endowment independently, whether it is in the form of medical devices, medicinal drinks, or a health benefit. All of these previous aspects contribute to the realization of the objectives of the wise legislator, and meet the needs of the people.
