THE PURPOSES RULES RELATED TO INTEREST AND CORRUPTION AND THEIR DAʿWAH APPLICATIONS ACCORDING TO AL-IMĀM AS-SHĀṬIBĪ

Abstract

The problem of this research arises that the studies related to the book of "al-Muwāfaqāt" dealt only with the purposes of Islamic Sharia, and did not pay attention to the aspects of Daʿwah; which is needed for the preacher in all matters of their da’wah. This research seeks to study the puropses rules of Al-Imām As-Shāṭibī in his book "al-Muwāfaqāt" and link them to Daʿwah applications,  to indentify the puropses rules that help to detect the Sharia wisdoms and to state some puropses rules and their Daʿwah applications. By employing the inductive and deductive methods. The research reach to the following findings: (1) the importance of the Sharia purposes knowledge for preachers consist in the protection from the intellectual and methodological deviations; (2) Mastering the Sharia puropses rules lead to arrange priorities, to achieve balance and to focus on what is most important.
