AL IMAM ʾABŪ ʿAMR ʾAL BAṢRĪ: HIS TWO NARRATORS, ORIGINS OF HIS RECITAION AND ITS EXPLANATION

Abstract
The research problem is about the discussion of the recitation's origins of al imam ʾabū ʿamr ʾal baṣrī, by collecting them and explaining hem linguisticly. The research seeks to identify a brief biography of al imam ʾabū ʿamr ʾal baṣrī, his most prominent teachers, students and his two narrators al-dūrī, and as-sūsī, also to dimonstrate the origins of his recitation through al-shātibiyyah poem with mentioning the explanation of his recitation. the descriptive inductive approach was applied to trace the origins of the explanation of his recitation through al-shātibiyyah poem and its explanations, and i have mentioned the explanation of his recitation in accordance with what was mentioned by as- sakhāwī in his explanation of al-shātibiyyah poem. this study has reached the following findings: (1) al imam ʾabū ʿamr ʾal baṣrī was expert in arabic language, grammar and the recitation. (2) al imam ʾabū ʿamr ʾal baṣrī used to learn the arabic language from its origins and sources, and he only learnt the recitation from what was proven to him orally that was recited in the presence of the companions of the prophet peace be upon him. (3) al imam ʾabū ʿamr ʾal baṣrī used to take in considertaion the people's capacities while teaching them recitation by choosing the easietd way in teaching in order to demonstrate the wisdom of recitations ; which is the easiness of the recitations of al qurʾān for people, and that the reference of that was the revelation..
