The principle of consistency is the backbone of the cosmic and religious systems, and the basis of scientific induction, and for its aforementioned importance, controversy and attraction occurred in it between religious sects and philosophical trends inside and outside the Islamic framework. It was among those trends that contributed to the crystallization of perspectives on this principle, and affected - in varying degrees - the natural and philosophical scientific fields = modern philosophical trends represented in: the rational trend, the experimental trend and the critical trend Although the outcomes of the three trends differ from their consideration of this principle, there is a degree of participation in the drawbacks that hides behind their differences. This study changed the abstraction of those drawbacks, and subjecting them to critical examination; To show its place of honesty - according to the Islamic perspective - and its impact on deepening the difference between these trends One of the results of the research: that the three philosophical systems in their treatment of the principle of continuity, did not proceed from what the nature of this principle requires, but those drawbacks contributed significantly to the framing of its vision, which led to its arbitrariness in addressing this principle.
