Abstract

This research aims to clarify the manifestations of ignorance among Christians, because ignorance is the biggest reason behind their misguidance, that is why I tried to limit the most important manifestations of ignorance in their religion, using the analytical method to analyze the texts of the Holy Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the texts of the Bible, to clarify the most important manifestations of their ignorance. Through my research. The research began by defining the study's terms, in which I dealt with the definition of ignorance in terms of language and terminology, with an explanation of the division of ignorance into simple and complex, and then dealt with the meaning of Christians, language and terminology, and their division and months The difference between them and their differences among themselves, and the discussion was extended in this regard from the Gospels of the Christians ..Then I mentioned the impact on language and terminology, then I went to talk about the scourge of ignorance among the Christians, by highlighting their ignorance of the correct belief - in God Almighty, and in the prophets and in the Gospels. Then the effects of that ignorance on the Christian community itself, then on the Muslim community, and I relied in the study on texts from their books, which I cited as what I wanted from the research. From this research, I reached several results, the most important of which are: their ignorance of the Bible and its manifestations have been shown, as well as their ignorance of the most important acts of worship in their religion, such as prayer, and: their ignorance of what God has forbidden them.
