Objectives: comparing the efforts of Dr. Mutabakani and Dr. Namlah regarding the study of Orientalism. The comparison made between them in the concept of Orientalism, its origin, goals, and judgment. Research Methodology: Analytical and Comparative Approach. Main search results: Dr. Mutabakani was distinguished by his academic specialization in the field of Orientalism, and the diversity of efforts such as writing and attending conferences specialized in Orientalism, interviewing orientalists, and writing about his direct travels to the West as it is a means of astonishment. Moreover, Dr. Namlah was distinguished by his extensive writing on Orientalism. He benefited from his specialization to enrich the bibliographic monitoring of books on Orientalism. Both of them see the expansion of the circle of entrants in Orientalism to include non-Muslim Arabs, while they separated because Dr. Mutabakani discussed all Islam and Muslims into it through the Western viewpoint, whatever his state, religion, or language. In addition, Dr. Mutabagani took a sharp critique of Orientalism and saw that objective orientalists were very few. However, Dr. Namlah sees that there are oriental scholars who have served the Islamic heritage and that looking at Orientalism in terms of its negative impact without focusing on its positive impact has an impact on judging it and its scientific production.
