THE DISPUTE AND ITS DISADVANTAGES ACCORDING TO IMAM SALIH AL-MAQBILI (D.1108H) (D.1108h)

Abstract

This research aims to study the life of Imam Salih bin Al Mahdi Al Muqbali (D.1108H) who is considered a scholar among the great Muslims scholars, and among the great mujtahids imams of Yemen and among those who sticks to the truth, renounced imitation, and apply justice.  He was one of the leaders of the reforming and renewing movement in the yemeni society, the leaders who sereved the religion with their various books in Isalmic creed and, rulings and different Islamic sciences, He contributed to the renewal of the Islamic thought and the removal of the fanatisim and extremisim, He made a sincere efforts in order to overcome the causes of dispute, division and disruption in the Islamic society. The importance of this research comes to reveal the disadvantages of the dispute and its negative impact according to the imam Al-Muqbali and his approach to deal with it. The nature of the research required an inductive method. The research has an introduction and three chapters, the first chapter: a brief summary about the imam, the second chapter: the concept of dispute and its disadvantages, the third chapter: the disadvantages of the dispute according to the imam, then the conclusion which summarizes the research results.
