Abstract

I have compiled in this research, titled "The Jurisprudential Opinions of Allamah Abdul Hayy Al Lucknawi, from his book The Great Commentary on the Muwatta' of Muhammad (التعليق الممجد على موطأ محمد), The Chapter of Prayer",  his opinions on the following chapters : [ The Timings of Prayers, The Ruling of the Taraweeh and Witr prayers, The Ruling of Combining Prayers due to an Excuse, The Ruling of Bathing After Washing the Deceased]. I have compiled them because, despite their high value in the Islamic community, they were not given the research they deserve. The research reveals the opinions of this scholar in the category of worship generally and in the category of prayers specifically, and compiles them in order to make their understanding easier for students, while aiming to signify his compliance to the Hanafi school of thought.
