ABSTRACT
Political tyranny has negative effects on societies and nations in various fields of life in the short and long term,for the phenomenon of political tyranny is mainly based on the monopoly of power and the seizure of freedoms; therefore this ground if the ruler starts from ,it will build upon many consequences such as : the absence of institutional work, and the loss of trust In assigning tasks and responsibilities, the superiority of authority and the ruler over supervision, accountability and the law, the absence of justice, and the imbalance of many scales and standards, so all of this are negatively reflected on the life of society in all its aspects.
For example, and the fact that our field study on Yemen during the period 1997-2011 AD, the tyranny of political power during that period had negative consequences for society, the most prominent of which are: blocking the horizon of dialogue , political violence, expanding the influence of the tribe , the so called tribal norms and rules at the expense of state authority and the law, the adoption of the principle Loyalty to the ruler in assigning tasks and responsibilities at the expense of efficiency and integrity, the acquisition of a small category of officials over the nation's wealth, which leads to the widening circle of poverty and unemployment among the people , the low level of education and its weak outputs, and lack of benefit from scientific competencies.
All of these and other problems resulting from political tyranny can be solved by tackling the root of the problem, which is political tyranny, by replacing it with good governance based on freedom, consultation, justice and equality.
