Abstract

     The study aims at highlighting the phenomenon of semantic mastery of the unique names of surahs. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used the linguistic analytical method as well as the descriptive method, so that he should observe the phenomenon of semantic mastery of the unique names of surah's, highlight the justification of the semantic context and the secrets of language and rhetoric, and reveal their significance to the purposes of the Qur'an and its surah's. The study comes up with a Quranic theory about the unique names of surah's, and their significance to the purposes of the Qur'an and its surah's. This phenomenon is related to the relations between the successive structures inside the whole surah according to the unique significance of the name of the surah, literally and phonetically, to the general context of the surah and its purpose. The study recommends the continuation of monitoring the phenomenon of semantic mastery of Quranic uniqueness in other aspects.
