The research objective:  It reveals the broad definition of the miracle and tries to reach a middle ground that combines the extensive definition with the trueness of the miracle. In this research, I will shed light on the definition of the miracles of the prophets as mentioned in the Qur’ān and the Sunnah. Research methodology: the analytical inductive method and the inferential method. One of the most important findings of the research is that the word miracle is not mentioned in the Qur’ān or Sunnah in the sense of prophets' signs and proof of their  honestness. Rather, the signs of the prophets are expressed in Qur’ān and Sunnah in other words, such as sign and signs, which are the most used words in this sense as well as evidence,  evidences and proof. And this is what the Prophets' companions and their followers and followers' followers used to do.
