Abstract
ABSTRACT: The article we are about to present aims to shed some light on style and stylistics and the linguistic and technical meanings of this term, then to establish the difference between them. After that, we focused on the life of Sheikh Abdul Rahman Salah Al-Din, the tenth Imam of Al-Malawi, and we dealt with the personality of that scholar who was one of the luminaries of the Emirate of Ilorin and highlighting what is in his article of stylistic phenomena, rhetorical features and grammatical patterns. I titled it “Stylistic Phenomena in Some Works of Ilorin Scholars: Sheikh Abdul Rahman Salah Al-Din (Imam Al-Malawi) as a Model” intentionally and to highlight – because of the high and prominent position of stylistic phenomena among stylistic and structural analysts and following their approach in dealing with structural stylistic studies.
