Abstract

There are two contrary phenomena in Arabic language, though they are interrelated at the same time, indeed they are integral: the derivation phenomena in what it gives and revives, and the phenomenon of potency phraseology of the alphabet in what it forms and adopt. Both phenomena show the Arabic language richness and affluence, and the ability to develop and expand, although the phenomenon of “linguistics formation” with all its stereotypy and inflexibility. It is more beneficial to language in its growth and richness than the derivation phenomena, because of the abundance of Arabic structure formation and formulas that suit with its grammatical regularities, which is the most beautiful parts of derivation and formation. Thus, the Arabic morphology did not get the attention of the scholars (Linguists) in research as it was in the Arabic grammar. This study shows the creativity of the Arabs and the linguistic power of their language that won the admiration of linguists throughout the centuries.
