Abstract

Praise be to God, abundant praise that reaches its limit, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the prophets and messengers. This research is based on collecting the Hadiths beginning with the word (all) in the Book of Worship in the nine books and studying them in an objective and analytical study. In terms of their generality and specificity, and the
extent of the influence of the word 'kull' (every/all) on the jurisprudence of these
Hadiths, this generality may sometimes have specifics that some people do not realize, and this leads to errors in rulings, which contained eleven hadiths: five of them contain jurisprudential rulings, while six other hadiths do not contain jurisprudential rulings. Explaining the legislative and rhetorical miracle represented by the brevity of the words with
the breadth of meanings and the comprehensiveness of the rulings in the use of the word (all) by the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the extent of its connotation in generality in the chapters of the Book of Worship, and the diversity of its specifications that were specific to the generality of the Hadiths that begin with the word (all), among continuous
specifications in the same context. Hadith, or separate allocations in other Hadiths. After extrapolating all the other relevant evidence and analyzing it for each Hadith, it became clear that the meaning of the word (all) in the Hadiths that begin with the word (all) in the Book of Worship in the nine books in general is not always definitive, but rather it is often speculative and subject to specification. By following the scholars’ explanations of hadiths beginning with the word (all) in the nine books of acts of worship, this research also clarifies that each Hadith is considered separately, so the word (all) may be used for absolute generality, which is not included in specification, or it may be used in general terms, but it is specified by other evidence. This research also clarified the jurisprudential rulings deduced from the Hadiths in which the word (all) appeared in the chapters of the Book of Worship in the nine books, and demonstrated the importance of examining the semantics of words, such as general and specific, in understanding the texts of the Prophet’s Sunnah and deriving rulings from them in
a correct manner. This is what God Almighty knows best and is most exalted in.
