Abstract

This research aimed to explore the effectiveness of the electronic adaptive assessment in raising the results of secondary school students in the achievement tests of the Qiyas Center, by polling the opinion of teachers about the effectiveness of the electronic adaptive assessment in raising the results of the academic achievement tests from the Qiyas Center, which is one of the requirements for university admission. And learn about the most prominent challenges that teachers face in applying it.


The researcher used the quantitative approach in the research by building an electronic questionnaire tool to achieve the goal of the questionnaire and to know the teachers’ point of view on the effectiveness of these electronic adaptive assessments. The current research was limited to a sample of 100 teachers from the city of Jeddah, and the results will be analyzed with the statistical program (SPSS).


Finally, we hope that this exploratory study will present the effectiveness of the adaptive electronic assessment in the results of the achievement test from the Qiyas Center from the point of view of the teachers. Accordingly, the researcher recommends including the electronic adaptive assessment within the course evaluation to raise the results of academic achievement. This study will pave the way for building a future artificial intelligence system to develop the assessment mechanism. School for the targeted subjects in the general education achievement tests, which supports the increase in its results from a measurement center to achieving one of the university admission requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will thus support the increase in the schools’ ranking in a ranking index in the Evaluation Commission.
