Abstract:
The study aimed to evaluate the career guidance program and to determine the extent to which high school students (third-year secondary students) benefit from the program by identifying the reality and obstacles of the program from the students’ perspective in making career decisions, as well as proposing a suggested program The study sample consisted of (342) students, and the researcher employed the descriptive method. The results indicated that the reality of the career guidance program provided to high school students for making career decisions was rated at the level of “agree.” The findings also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level among the mean responses of the study sample regarding the reality of the career guidance program provided to high school students from the students’ perspective in making career decisions that could be attributed to the specialization variable
