The aim of the study: On the effectiveness of using (WhatsApp application) on the development of the level of performance of the passing skill in the sport of football for secondary school students, the study sample was selected by random method for 60 students of Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz High School (Medina) in the Medina region - Saudi Arabia The researcher used the semi-experimental method using an experimental group and a control group, each group consisted of 30 students, to identify the effectiveness of the WhatsApp application to develop the performance of the passing skill in football, and the most important results obtained by the study:


1- The process of watching the performance and educational steps that were broadcast using the WhatsApp application had a positive impact on the learning of secondary school students' soccer skill for the experimental group compared to the control group.


 


 


 


 


The most important recommendations are:


1- The researcher recommends that those in charge of the educational process pay attention to the use of modern technologies in the educational process.


2- The research recommends the use of social media applications and the great interest of many students and young people in the educational process because they have a large share of the time of young people and students.


3- Similar studies should be conducted to update the issues and obstacles to the practice of sports activities in public education. 


4- Conducting studies on different environments and educational institutions other than public education.
