Abstract

The research addresses the doubts of polytheists regarding the Prophet (PBUH) and the responses provided by the Holy Quran. The research problem revolves around the corruption of the polytheists' perceptions of the Prophet (PBUH) and their obstinacy in seeking miracles، as well as their astonishment at combining human qualities with prophethood. The aim of the research is to clarify the reality of the Prophet (PBUH) and his call، exposing the corruption of the polytheists' perceptions and their doubts، countered by the Holy Quran. The research adopts an inductive-analytical approach to trace، collect، categorize، and highlight the weaknesses of polytheists' doubts، along with the Quranic responses. The deductive approach is employed to conclude the frivolity of polytheists' doubts and the shallowness of their thoughts. In the first section، I discussed the polytheists' doubts about the person of the Prophet (PBUH)، and the Quranic refutations. In the second section، I addressed the Quranic responses to the alleged contradiction between humanity and prophethood. The third section elucidates the Quranic explanation for the polytheists' obstinacy in seeking miracles and belittling their fantasies. In the conclusion، key findings were highlighted، including the  Prophet's(PBUH) patience towards the polytheists and enduring their harm was a manifestation of his keenness for their embrace of Islam. The Prophet's (PBUH) responses to the doubts of the polytheists were disciplined by revelation، rendering them decisive and overwhelming for them. It is noteworthy that the polytheists remained unconvinced even as they doubted their own conclusions and the evidence presented to them، embodying rejection as mentioned in the Quran: "Indeed، they do not deny you، but the wrongdoers deny the verses of Allah." (Al-An'am: 33).
