Abstract
This research is founded upon considering matters in which Ibn Hisham al-Lakhmi argued by texts from Mu’jam al-'Ayn in his repulse to Abū Bakr al-Zubaydī. Such matters were specifically concerning the close relationship between al-Zubaydī and Kitab al-'Ayn whether in briefly or remedially. This study aimed to clarify the right uses of the public for what were solecized by al-Zubaydī, detect his attitude about what is included in Kitab al-'Ayn to the contrary of his point of view and address his reasons for fallibility and infallibility Citing the sayings of the prophet and the narrations. The research concluded some results affirming that his criterion in fallibility and infallibility is based upon hearing and that he hasn’t relied on what was exclusively stated by the author of Kitab al-'Ayn contrary to the attitude of Ibn Hisham who made it a main source for deciding fallibility and infallibility.
