ADAPTING AṢṢARFAH IN THE INIMITABILITY OF THE NOBLE QUR’ĀN; A CRITICAL STUDY

The problem of the research lies in the influence of the past and the current writings about the inimitability of the Qur’ān with Aṣṣarfah (the prohibition from production). The research shows the concept of Aṣṣarfah linguistically and idiomatically, the emergence of Aṣṣarfah, its history, the famous scholars who adopted Aṣṣarfah with their interpretations of it and the nulifications of Aṣṣarfah. The analytical and critical approach was used to define the Aṣṣarfah linguistically and idiomatically, to clarify its origin and motives, to clarify the most famous who adopted the Aṣṣarfah with their interpretaion of it, to invalidate the saying of the Aṣṣarfah and to indicate its contradiction to the inimitability of the noble Qur’ān. The research reached several results, which are that the strongest doctrine of Aṣṣarfah is the doctrine of the an-Naẓẓām, followed by al-Sharīf Al-Murtaḍā and then Ibn Sinān al-Khafājī. The danger of Aṣṣarfah lies in the fact that it is involved in some books of interpretations, and books of some scholars, or the lack of understanding the sayings of scholars in nulifying Aṣṣarfah. The concept of Aṣṣarfah differs from one person to another, some of them saw that God Almighty robbed them of the ability to oppose, and some of them saw that Aṣṣarfah lies in robbing them of the sciences that they need. Those who adopted the Aṣṣarfah are divided into two categories: some of them mentioned it explicitly and some of mentioned it indirectly. And the saying of the Aṣṣarfah contradicts the inimitability of the Noble Qur’an, and those who adopted the Aṣṣarfah do not have any evidence on which they can rely; Rather, some what they say contradicts itself.
