RENEWING RELIGIOUS DISCOURSE IN THE CREED FIELD ACCORDING TO ḤASAN ḤANAFĪ: A CRITICAL STUDY

Abstract

Praise be to God, we praise Him, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness, we seek His guidance, and we pray and salute the Messenger as a mercy to the worlds, Muḥammad and his family and his pure companions. The problem of this research emerges in addressing the concept of creed renewal according Ḥasan Ḥanafī, to highlight its flaws in the direction of Western dependence as one of those who claimed to keep pace with modernity. in renewing religious discourse; Where attention is paid to Western thought and influenced by modernist philosophies and doctrines, which affected his thought and belief, It was necessary to confront it with a fundamentalistic doctrinal study aimed at advising the doctrinal Islamic thought in order to rid it of what is tainted by such alien waves that are alien to its originality. Thus, the Islamic faith always appears to be targeted by all groups opposed to the originality of the Islamic religion, which aim to change the curriculum to serve the material intellectual trends. Without paying attention to the reality of religion and the consequences of the afterlife Hence, the aim of the research appeared, which is to shed light on the issues of religious renewal according to Ḥasan Ḥanafī, to show the distortion contained therein. It has become clear that the Westernization of the language of religious renewal is the most dangerous thing, as it has followed in the footsteps of the modernist trend of the People of the Book in their stance on the old book; With such claims that exceeded the right to follow; And at the expense of the religion of Islam that is compatible with reason and instinct, the original renewal movements that were blessed by the footsteps of followers and the commitment to inheritance were fought In order to deal with the criticism of the issues of creedal renewal with him, I have adopted a number of scientific approaches that aim to pursue justice, ensure the integrity of speech, and provide clear advice. So my commitment to presenting Hanafi’s renewal issues appeared in this research. With the method of induction and presentation, the method of analysis and deduction, and the comparative method of criticism based on the adoption of the original methods of Islamic renewal, Hanafi views on ideological renewal are mainly presented to him.
