Da'wah Efforts of Social Development Societies in Saudi Arabia And Their Role in Da'wah: Association of Al-Mawaddah As A Model

Abstract
This research aimed at illustrating the advocacy efforts which Saudi social development associations exert in addition to determining the role of these efforts towards serving the advocacy through Al-mwadah Association.
The researcher depended on the inductive -descriptive approach in order to describe and explain these efforts depending on official documents and interviews with the association officials.
The research concluded that the advocacy efforts of family development associations within Saudi Arabia concentrated on moral aspects not relieved ones. They were confined to the field of family, qualification of both young men and women, upbringing of children and rehabilitation of divorced women. They also had a prominent role in advocacy based on achieving the principle of social solidarity and advocacy for good. In addition, these efforts helped in supporting individual and collective methods of the advocacy depending on all types and shapes of counseling sessions. They also contributed to promoting advocates roles and both educational and intellectual outreach as well as enriching the advocacy library through departments of such researches which are found in the concerned associations.
