Abstract
Teaching and memorizing the Qur’an is a cornerstone and basic principle for raising Muslim children. Education scholars have confirmed that teaching does not succeed without the help of the good method and effective means, and by which the competence of the teacher in his profession is known. We have noticed that many memorizers have lost these requirements. This article aims to highlight some of the methods and means that help memorizers and their students in the process of memorizing the Noble Qur’an in their circles. The article includes three chapters after the introduction. In the first chapter, the article begins with a brief overview of the definition of the Qur’an, the importance of memorizing and learning it, and the purpose of teaching it. The second chapter presents some of the methods developed by educators for teaching the Holy Qur’an, and then the third chapter follows, shedding light on the educational means used by memorizers to facilitate the memorization of the Holy Qur’an. The article ends with the conclusion that It includes suggestions and recommendations, hoping that God Almighty will benefit us through them in this world and the Hereafter.
