Abstract
The problem of the study was identified in the presence of deficiencies in the quality of health services and programs provided to students in the educational schools of the city of Jeddah, and their lack of comprehensiveness of school health requirements. Accordingly, this study aimed to identify the degree of activation of the health guide for school health programs from the point of view of the principals of Jeddah education schools, and the descriptive approach was followed. The study population consisted of all principals and principals of secondary schools in Jeddah, amounting to (664) male and female principals. As for the study sample, it consisted of (200) male and female principals, who were chosen in a stratified random way. A questionnaire was prepared to collect data consisting of (39) indicators distributed evenly in three areas. School health programs are: (school health environment programmers, school health services programmers, and school health education programmers). The results of the study showed that the average responses of the study sample on the areas of the questionnaire ranged between (3.49-3.66/5), where the field of "school health services programs" ranked first with an arithmetic mean of (3.66) and with a moderate degree of evaluation, followed by the field of "healthy school environment programs". With an arithmetic average of (3.62) and a medium degree of evaluation, and thirdly, the field of health education programs with an arithmetic mean of (3.49) and a medium degree of evaluation. The total arithmetic mean for the fields of school health programs was (3.59) and with a medium degree of evaluation.
