Abstract
This research aimed to identify the requirements of the knowledge society necessary to develop the skills of supervisory positions among female science supervisors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the research followed the descriptive approach. Their number is (156) educational supervisors. To achieve the goal of the research, a questionnaire was prepared consisting of (32) indicators distributed equally on four axes of the requirements of the knowledge society, namely: (production and generation of knowledge in supervisory positions, employment and dissemination of knowledge in supervisory positions, knowledge organization and storage in supervisory positions, the effects of knowledge society on supervisory positions. The results showed that the arithmetic means of the estimates of the members of the research sample of science supervisors for each axis of the questionnaire ranged between (3.52-3.61/5), and all axes came "to a large extent" from the estimate, as the axis of "the effects of the knowledge society on supervisory jobs" came. It ranked first with a mean of (3.61) and a high degree of appreciation, followed by the axis of “employment and dissemination of knowledge”, with a mean of (3.57) and a high degree of appreciation, and then the axis of “production and generation of knowledge”, with an arithmetic mean of (3.55) and a high degree of appreciation.
