The nominal sentence in the verses containing the word woman or one of its synonyms in the Holy Quran – a descriptive and analytical study

Abstract
ABSTRACT: The research paper entitled "Structuring Sentences Containing the Word "Woman" and Its Synonyms written in the Holy Quran: A Syntactic and Semantic Study" It addresses the variety of definitions which describes the woman, such as "mother," "parent," "wife," "sister," "daughter," "analyst," and "companion." The goal of the research is to identify the defining words describing the woman and thus using its word independently pointing at the relationship between the meaning of the word that convey meaning. Firstly, the research aims to collect the Quranic verses which mentions the word “woman” or any of its meanings. Secondly, the research steps into describing their meanings as per each phrase linguistically, semantically, and syntactically. Finally, the focus of the research enlightens the reflection of every synonym, how it is used linguistically and its relation to the semantic aspect and explaining the reason it is used in every particular phrase. This will lead to exploring the hidden meanings and proofs and to discussing the link between the semantic meanings of the verses to the syntactic rules. The descriptive and analytical curriculum was followed. The material was presented according to the objectives of the research and the methodology required to reach these objectives. The verses were discussed thoroughly in both syntactical and semantical ways. All the sentences in which the phrase “woman”, or any of its meanings, were mentioned and counted as per the type of sentence used, such as nominal, conditional, verbal, etc. Moreover, the effect of the grammatical rules on the use of every phrase and how these phrases affected the whole meaning was exposed and explained.
