Abstract

ABSTRACT: The article heads for the study of Arabic Rhetoric condition and it was developed in Nigeria, on this, the basic question here is, what is the reality of Arabic Rhetoric in Nigeria? Indeed, the basic target is the study of the reality of Arabic Rhetoric in Nigeria with the clarification on the utmost efforts of some distinguished personalities of scholars and their contributions in this field. The research was aided by the historical and descriptive analytical methods in the course of data and documents collection to be able to know some facts about learning approach for enlightment and development, the researchers were able to arrive at the following results; indeed, the Arabic Rhetoric and its roles in different fields of Arabic has taken the utmost fortune between  those that have tasted and those who have specialized in it within the Arabized Scholars in Nigeria, those who appeared to have reached peak in proficiency and genius in reproduction and authorship, article and defense, presentation and analysis, even though their tongues  is not Arabic as well as their environment. Indeed, these distinguished personalities of scholars who have made these efforts in the studies of Arabic Language and Literature in Nigeria have combined between theory and practical, and also have given out whatever they possessed such as educational energy, ability and working experience in modernizing of Arabic Rhetoric forward in learning and teaching, research and prospecting, authorship and compilation being the caravan of their specialization Area. The research has presented some models of those distinguished personalities in the Area of Arabic literature in Nigeria, and it has also covered their individual efforts and productions. Suggestions and recommendations were made at the end for the sake of development and innovation in this field.
