Abstract

ABSTRACT


 


This study will address one of the aspects of contemporary Somali poetry: it is the syntax of contemporary Somali Arabic poetry, showing it's linguistic characteristics, and its general features are depicted for the phrase in contemporary Somali poetry, the memory of the grammatical rules from which poetry originated, and the structural symptoms that poets resorted to expressing the potential meanings in the endurance of their hearts, the opinions expressed in their minds; the disturbed meanings in their wings, the various means of presentation and delay, in the nominal and actual sentences, and the omission and deficiency in them, exile and proof, lengthening and restriction, and multiplicity, and objection, and the link between the predicate and the datum, and the harmony between the excreta and the nominal compounds. All this is done by using the descriptive and analytical method, in an environment that oppressed the language of the dād, and its words, its writing, and its use, not to mention developing and activating it, were fought, so the researcher collected the available poetry of contemporary Somali poets, and then chose from them three, then Divide them into three layers: advanced, intermediate and contemporary, and reach the most important results:Highlighting idle poets' poetry that the study did not address previously, because many of the stallions of poets and pioneers of ideas in our region in unknown mysteries, or in the world of oblivion, did not reach them the hands of the researcher and firefighters, as the study postponed the properties of Somali poets, the way they love poetry, and their commitment Grammar and morphological rules, weights, and rhyme.The study also showed the difference between our poets in terms of the safety of their hair, and its flow to the established scientific rules, which opens a door for researchers who are interested in studying and exploring in this regard.
