ABSTRACT


The Arabic language entered Senegal with Islam, from the eleventh century AD, then it became the language of religion, science, education, communication, codification, authorship, poetry loan, preaching, guidance, politics and investment. The Arabic language opened to the Senegalese the doors of the cultural and economic relationship between them and the Arab world. Some of the masters of the Arabic language wrote books on Islamic and Arabic sciences, and they loaned Arabic poetry good pieces and poems with purposes other than wine, promiscuity, heresy and immorality, and he was the most Senegalese poets They tend to the poetry of prophetic praise, educational poetry, mysticism, advocacy and education, and the people of local languages, such as "Wolof, Ballar and Sirer", wrote their brotherhood messages, popular poetry, and commercial deliberations in Arabic letters, and this spread was thanks to God and then by the efforts of lovers of the Arabic language. During this article, I study the writings of some Senegalese scholars - from the eighteenth century AD - inferring the role of the Arabic language in the development of generalized culture and the aim of. The article is a study of the extent of the role of the Arabic language on the development of the Senegalese culture. Rhetorical to infer their influence on Arabic and the growth of their culture in it, and we conclude the article with a conclusion, results and recommendations.
