Cloning and ethics in PHILOSOPHY OF science
Abstract
This study aims to presenting the moral issues in the applied results of contemporary science, which is no longer independent in its method and logic from the daily life of people, which led to the emergence of thorny moral problems, which required philosophy to take the initiative to study and criticize it, to find out the most prominent of these ethical dilemmas, and discussed. Among the most prominent scientific techniques, that raise this kind of ethical discussion, is the technique of reproductive cloning, due to the multiple problems it causes, which makes us re-question the importance of freedom of scientific research and its limits. And to find out the repercussions of this issue, we will discuss the most important ethical challenges this technique leads to, and analyze its negative effects on humanity and contemporary society. To know how these technologies, threaten the freedom of scientific research and stand in the way of its development?
The results of this research aim to clarify the concept of cloning and its types, risks and benefits, and to know how these scientific developments affect the identity and uniqueness of individuals, and how cloning threatens their dignity and destiny? and what are the best ways to reduce the risks of these technologies, to protect the freedom of scientific research, and to protect human beings and the sanctity of his life on the other hand? This research will use the comparative analytical method.
