Abstract
The research aimed to highlight the concept of crisis management and the role of leadership and information systems in preventing crisis. As researcher has identified the crisis types and phases. Actually، he highlighted the importance of institutional leadership being experienced in dealing with crises and effective personality influencing the surrounding environment. Moreover، he confirmed the importance of exploiting and harnessing all information and data to control and contain crises. This is so necessary because today، the institutions and bodies operate in very rapidly changing conditions. This increases the risk of crisis threatening their survival or significant material losses. Consequently، the researcher has adopted the inductive analytical approach.
Last but not least، the researcher has concluded a set of findings in which the most important is that managing the crisis successfully starts from diagnosing the crisis، tightly planning its response and addressing it in order to shift towards a positive direction. In addition، leadership needs an active and influential personality who works for the organization. Furthermore، leadership must adapt to crisis conditions and use crisis information systems to encircle and control the crisis. Finally، the researcher recommended submitting serial studies and keeping abreast of crisis management. Therefore، crisis management is commensurate with the new and emerging crisis. Also، crisis planning must be an important part of each organization's strategic planning
