Sheikh Ahmed Issa Al-Masrawi was born and raised in one of the villages of Dakahlia Governorate in Egypt in 1953 AD. He received the first stage of his education in the Quran in (Kitab al-Qarya), and then he moved to the Quran Institute in Cairo. Sheikh Al-Masrawi's beautiful voice in the Qur'an made him compete with the great reciters in gatherings and funerals. And also, in the revival of the nights of the month of Ramadan and Tarawih prayers in Egypt and many countries of the Islamic world.

In the same context, after completing the Qira'at Institute, he joined Al-Azhar University, where he completed his Bachelor's degree, then his Master's and PhD in Hadith sciences. He combined the sciences of the Quran and hadith. Therefore, his advocacy efforts were through them, both in his work as a professor of hadith and Sunnah sciences at Al-Azhar University. He benefited his students through lectures, lessons, seminars, books, literature, and continuous guidance to the community and science students.

 As for his efforts in the service of the Quran, it was clear. Sheikh Al-Masrawi established and supervised the establishment of many Quran centers, institutes, and sciences. When he took over the Sheikh of the Egyptian Al-Maqari, he contributed to its progress and prosperity and increased the number of reciters and its members.

            He also served as the Chairman of the Committee for the Revision of the Noble Quran for several years in Egypt and many Islamic and Arab countries. He used many means of advocacy in the service of the Book and the Sunnah, such as books and publications that exceed thirty books. He also communicated his call through Friday sermons, lessons, lectures, and meetings on both (radio and television, as well as through articles and blogs on social media).
