The method of historical criticism of the Bible in Western studies descriptive study""

Abstract

In this research, we examine some of the efforts to criticize the Bible, in Western studies from the Middle Ages until the present time, by dealing with the historical tool of criticism, with exposure to some of the different tools of criticism to determine the validity of texts, manuscripts and documents. It also shows the two courses of historical criticism of documents, which are the internal and external paths. It presents individual and institutional efforts in criticizing the Bible historically in the later ages.
