The study attempted  a critical reading of Kaab Ben Zahir's  poem " Burdah," according to a vision aimed at the role of context in revealing symbolic connotations,  . The key to accessing this research was the deconstruction of the talisman's different views surrounded the truth about "Suaad," Despite many previous studies on ‘Burdah’,  few independent studies on it. What motivates the researcher to search deeply into its innermost part, following the contextual approach, considering the role of the context and its potential in exploring the introduction's symbolism  The reasons for choosing this symbolism, the poet's intention in Saad than other names,  are to be introduced in front of the  prophet Mohammed. Its apology objective, requires to consider the status of the person to be praised and how to gain sympathy and satisfaction. And to be with the  praised person, not against him. The researcher looked for what extent was presented by ‘Kaab’ considered as good work from glorious poet, to choose that topic, and I got the following results: 1- Context plays a prominent role in exposing the symbolism of the introduction and denying it is flirtatious 2- Revealing the context of the situation, the logical semantic sequence of the verses 3- The context of the situation had a role in clarifying the meaning of “Saad” 4- The context shows the poet’s justifications for choosing the name “Saad” due to its dynamic character that makes it subject to interpretation according to the context of the situation
